Georgian Wine Tasting and Book Signing

Gmap.jpg

If you've never had wine from a Qvevri, Saturday September 2nd is your chance.  Qvevris are egg-shaped earthen vessels traditionally used to make wine in Georgia, and Soif is pleased to welcome Miquel Hudin to teach us the production of and history of this remarkable wine region.  Miquel is the author of Georgia, a guide to the cradle of wine, and he'll be sharing stories and facts from the motherland of all things vinous.  We'll taste our way through wines like Mtsvane and Rkatsiteli and experience 'natural wine' from its place of birth.

The cost of the flight of 6 wines is $20 and will include some light snacks.
