Local winemaker Ryan Stirm (pictured below) of Stirm Wine Co. will be here to talk about his wine making process and recent releases. Recently named a "winemaker to watch" by the San Francisco Chronicle, Ryan focuses on making wines that are suitable for Califonia's climate. His practices, often low-intervention (the Wirz, Glenwood, and Kick-On Vineyards are all dry-farmed) and unconventional (he fermented all of his red wines from this past vintage in redwood barrels), have resulted in wines that are both reflective of their origin and expressive of their terroir.
The event will take place at 1pm on Saturday, May 5th, in the restaurant section of Soif. The cost of the tasting is $35 for general admission, and $15 for Soif Wine Club Members. The cost of admission includes both the food and the wine pairing**. Tickets may be purchased below, or in our wine shop.
